THE FILM

A PLACE WE SEE.
A PLACE WE FEEL.

Great Salt Lake is a landscape of memory, kinship, grief, and renewal. For the people who know it closely, its changing shoreline is deeply personal.

Featuring Indigenous leader Darren Parry and photographer Chris Carlson, Elegy of Salt explores how relationships with familiar places take shape—and how those relationships move us to care.
